GM Inland Division M2 .30 Carbine Transferable Select-Fire Machine GunNov. 19, 2021, 3:30 p.m. - Unknown Section -
Transferable on a Form 3
This Chester County Armory listing is for a select-fire Inland Division of General Motors M2 Carbine chambered in .30 carbine.
This transferable machine gun is an original registered receiver M2 marked weapon, that was originally placed on the NFA registry by Dane Hobbs at Innovators, LLC. This is not a conversion firearm. It features all original Inland parts, a December 1944 stamped Inland Division barrel, a rare, government issued, removable grenade launcher sight and pouch (with original instructions), the Vietnam era upgrades, and a period correct rifle sling.
This original M2 marked machine gun is in excellent mechanical condition, with very little, if any wear noted on the fire controls and the internals. The bore is still very bright and shiny, with very good definition of the rifling lands and grooves. Cosmetically, it is also in excellent condition, with no major flaws or marks in the metalwork. There are some slight wear and storage marks in the metalwork, consistent with the aging of a well-kept firearm of almost 80 years of age. The wood furniture is also in overall excellent condition, with no cracks, and only a very few minor dings and dents in the stock (see photos).
This machine gun is fully transferable. The NFA Form 3 paperwork lists "Dane Hobbs DBA Innovators LLC" as the manufacturer and "M2" as the model.
